About us
At the beginning of 2004 some members of staff in the Barbara Russell Children's Unit in Frenchay Hospital decided to set up a charity to support children and the families of children who had been patients of the Neurosciences Team in Frenchay Hospital.
We hold social events at different locations in the South West, including an annual Christmas Party, and those who live close enough come to our monthly meetings at Frenchay Hospital.
The Chair of the charity is Julie Fisher, the Secretary is Will Gosling and the Treasurer is Trevor Worsfold.
Our other trustee is Steve Tovey and our hard working committee members are Debbie Worsfold and Sian Rees.
Our events provide opportunities for ex-patients and their families to meet up with each other and also with some members of Frenchay Hospital staff, in informal and fun environments.
